Scotland - North East Coast

We drove south along the Whisky Route. The rain started as we stopped to have a look at the Craigellachie Bridge across the River Spey. It is the oldest surviving cast iron bridge in Scotland. It was built in 1814, designed by the famous Scottish engineer Thomas Telford, who was responsible for many other 'firsts' in Britain.
